To find us once in Glastonbury
HaloAvalon is toward the top of the High Street – we are on the right hand side when looking up the High Street.
By Car
On arriving in Glastonbury from M5 or A39 from Wells, follow the signs for Glastonbury Town Centre. At Wirral Park Roundabout, (Esso Petrol Station on the corner), take exit marked “A361/Town Centre, Shepton Mallet, Frome”. At the next T-junction/roundabout, take 1st exit (left) onto Magdalene Street and follow the road round to the right, into the High Street. Take 1st left off the High Street into Archers Way and first right onto Butt Close. You will find Butt Close car park up the road to your right, (Postcode: BA6 9HY). Walk back along Butt Close/Archers Way and turn left onto the High Street – Halo is approx. 50 yards up, on the right hand side.
By Rail
Glastonbury does not have a rail station. The nearest stations are Castle Cary, Taunton and Bristol. Taunton and Bristol both offer a bus service from the station to Glastonbury town centre. Castle Cary is our local station, and is a little more remote, so it is advisable to take a taxi. (Approx £30; Travelling time 30 minutes) Taxi’s are generally waiting at the station, though advisable to book.

Bus to Glastonbury from Bristol or London
For information, call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or visit www.traveline.org.uk. From Bristol, the travel time is approximately 90 minutes, via local bus service, 376, from Bristol Bus Station or the stop outside Temple Meads Railway Station. Details of the timetable are available at www.firstgroup.com. On the drop down menu ‘choose your local area’ select Bristol, Bath and the West.
From London, National Express coaches run from Victoria Station, (www.nationalexpress.com) and Berry’s Coaches from Hammersmith Bus Station. (www.berrycoaches.co.uk); travel times vary between 3 – 4’15 hours, dependent upon time of day and point of departure.
By Air
The nearest airport is Bristol. (BRS)
You can either take a taxi (£50 pre-booked Glastonbury taxi; £70 airport taxi) or there is an airport bus to take you into the Bristol city centre. You then change onto the Glastonbury bus. There is a regular service during the day. Please check the web sites for details.
Bristol Airport Bus
The Airport Flyer is the only dedicated express service linking Bristol City centre, Clifton and connecting rail and bus networks with Bristol Airport. The service now runs every 10 minutes during peak times from Bristol Bus Station and local bus networks.
The service operates two routes:
A1 – Bristol Airport – Bedminster – Temple Meads Railway Station – Cabot Circus – Bristol Bus Station (This service operates in both directions).
A2 – Bristol Airport – Bedminster – Temple Meads Railway Station – Broad Quay (City Centre) – Clifton – Bristol Bus Station (This service operates Bristol-bound only).
Adult single £6; Return £10
Travelling time approximately 40 minutes
Travelling from Heathrow Airport
There is a RailAir train link between Heathrow and Reading station. (Reading is west of London – see www.railair.com for timetables)
You then change at Reading for Bristol Temple Meads. www.trainline.com
Alternatively you can take the express service to Paddington, London and change there for the Bristol train. www.heathrowexpress.com
